For students coming forward for the summer session from SCC and TCCC, we need for you to complete some information for our distance learning dept. so that you will have Blackboard access the first day of classes. Precepting at Murphy Medical

If you are precepting at Murphy Medical Center for NUR 235 and have never been there for clinical before, then you must complete the Student Orientation manual, sign the HIPAA/compliance agreements, and take a test on the manual. Please call Mary OConnor at 837-8161 ext 6170 to set up a time to do this. Also, all students who are precepting at Murphy Med will need to go to Jessica Corn's office (M-F from 8am to 5pm and get their computer password set up. This must be done prior to the start of preceptorship.

The ISBN for the virtual clinical excursion is 978-0-323-05014-2. These are available as bundles in the bookstore and are also sold separately in the bookstore if you already have the text.

Sorry I was unable to be at the meeting today at 1000. The course will be opened on the first student day which is Jan. 12, 2009.
